Where to Sleep

Sleeping arrangements are a major component of any roadtrip and riding in the Kootenays is no exception. Doesn’t matter what else happens, ya gotta sleep sometime. We all travel differently and on different budgets. And sometimes it’s great to travel spending as little as possible and splurge for a night here and there. On one end is the many Forest Service Recreation Sites scattered all over the area. Most are free, but can be a bit to get to. Provincial Parks and Commercial Campgrounds abound, with quite a number catering to riders. If camping isn’t your thing, there are lots of motels and hotels. Many are moto-friendly, and in fact a number host group rides. Not matter where you decide, sleep well. You earned it…
